Today we have finally posted our images from the Queen Lili'oukalani Canoe Race in Kona, Hawai'i. This is the worlds largest canoe race, consisting of ocean-rigged, outrigger canoes and paddlers from all over the world. Different classes separate wooden, fiberglas and carbon boats.

The women's race is 22 miles from Kailua Pier to Honaunau Bay, and the men race the same boats back to Kailua. Each consists of over 100 boats.

 

The best image are posted to the Gallery section of our website (approx 70 images), with those and more posted to the Pro Lab Store. This gallery also contains several interesting panoramas.
